Fall Family Fun in Wasaga Beach

No matter what time of year, there’s always something exciting going on at Wasaga Beach. While the leaves turn orange and red and the temperatures start to drop, Wasaga Beach knows how to continue the fun right through the Fall Season. There are tons of family friendly activities to look forward to including the annual Hootenanny and the Pumpkin Trail.

Public Skate – Every Sunday

Sharpen your skates and tie up your laces! Every Sunday from 6pm to 7:30pm, enjoy the public skate with your friends and family at the Wasaga Stars Arena. Hop on the ice and practice your technique or come just to have fun. Don’t forget your helmet!

Hootenanny – October 8, 2022

Get ready to party and celebrate the fall season at Wasaga Beach’s 4^th Annual Hootenanny! Make sure to rock your denim and have a good time. This year’s Hootenanny features a bunch of exciting activities.

Enjoy the petting zoo or sing your heart out with karaoke. Maybe you’ll find your inner Zen with goat yoga or get an adrenaline rush from the mechanical bull or axe throwing! To end off the day, indulge in local delights, and sample drinks from Ontario artisan brewers.

What’s a party without live music? Enjoy performances by Tommy Jensen, Jess Bowman, Rebecca Rain, and Rob Watts. With all these activities, we’re sure everyone in the family will find something to enjoy!

Rounds Ranch – September to October 2022

Just 10 minutes away from Wasaga Beach, Rounds Ranch is the place for outdoor family fun. From September to October, Rounds Ranch offers fall-themed events like Pumpkin Mania and the Flashlight Corn Maze.

Pumpkin Mania

Pumpkin Mania is a pumpkin-themed weekend event from September 17th to October 30th. During this event, bring home a free pumpkin of any size and any colour. With over 22 attractions like pumpkin bowling, a pie eating contest, sack races, and more, we’re sure you and the kids will have endless fun!

Flashlight Corn Maze

Need a fun Saturday Night activity in October? Solve a mystery and trek through Rounds Ranch’s Flashlight Corn Maze! Navigate through the Corn Maze at night and while you’re at it, get a free pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Enjoy finding clues and try not to get lost!

Halloween Through Town – October 28-31, 2022

As the leaves fall to the ground, it’s a sign that its almost spooky season! If you’re someone that loves to decorate your home or business for Halloween, this is your chance to showcase your spooky décor. Hang up your cobwebs, bring out those jack-o-lanterns, and summon some creepy crawlers to your home or business for a chance to win awesome prizes.

If you’re someone that loves to admire these decorated homes and businesses, keep an eye out for the Halloween Through Town – digital self-guided tour from October 28-31! Admire these homes and maybe you’ll get a trick or treat!

Pumpkin Trail – November 1^st, 2022

Since we’re on the topic of Halloween, did you know that Wasaga Beach loves Halloween so much that they extended it one more day? On November 1^st, if you’ve got a jack-o-lantern that you want to show off, bring it to the Pumpkin Trail and take a look at the town’s carved pumpkins! Vote for your favourite pumpkin (or for yourself) and end the Pumpkin Trail with a treat bag!
